My dear sister sent me this heartwarming story from the SF Weekly.
Michael Maxfield could have thrown his life away, like so many
offenders do under the hateful stigma. Instead he is spreading joy
and laughter wherever he goes. Makes me wonder how many others
could become heroes with a little help.

You're welcome. It's always a pleasant surprise to be walking down Market Street and have Pink Man ride by...I've seen him so many times but of course never knew his story. Fantastic job the reporter - Ashley Harrell - did on that piece, no? I emailed her with my compliments and asked her to pass on to Pink Man that I for one welcome him wholeheartedly to the Bay Area, particularly after reading Harrell's article, and applaud him for courage.
